My Bio
Thanks to all those who follow what I post and give support. It's great when someone favs a shot but even better when they leave a comment saying what they like about it. I will always try to reply to any comments if I can.

HDR and B+W

In an attempt to bring a bit of variety and impact to my gallery I like to use B+W and HDR processing on some of my images. The HDR in particular, has received a mixed response as some people hate it. Both B+W and HDR seem to be treated in many groups as something unclean and fit only to be segregated into seperate ghettos, well away from their colour counterparts. Why is this ?

Favourites Folder

I thoroughly recommend a look through my folder of favourites of works by other Deviants. There are many really exceptional works in their own right and often the work is a bookmark to a favourite gallery belonging to a really great artist.

Thank You very much! Beautiful gallery❗️
Thanks for the fav!
Thank you for the video. If you ask me I think it's terrible to do something like this to a live animal. SOrry I am replying on your profile, wanted to keep the comment on Monk's page to minimum.  I
It amazes me too that people think it's ok. The thing I find most difficult to understand is that both China and Japan have animals quite literally written into their cultures and religions. I think it's called animism. Everything has a soul and everyone is deemed to have characteristics comparable to that of an animal. I hope things will change over time.
Agreed. I hope it will change also :)
I love robins. Are yours friendly (to humans anyway) and intelligent? In the UK our will perch right next to you on a spade handle while you dig the garden so that they can swoop down for the worms and grubs. They are fiercely territorial with other birds.

Ours look like this.

Hi

I would have to say some are, like the Flame Robins Flame Robin 0439 by DPasschier  that I always see when I am camping. The Scarlet Robins are for ever moving and watching out for the larger birds that may harm them, The Scarlet Robin that you saw in my gallery took a lot of following him to capture that photo.
The one in my pictures was 5 feet away as I passed through his territory and still there when I came back. He spotted my seed/honey bar and posed for pictures in exchange :) They are held in high regard here.
